Accounts Receivable - Acacia Ridge, BrisbaneOur client are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Officer to join their growing finance team.
The Role: - Invoicing: Prepare and issue accurate invoices to customers in a timely manner.
- Collections: Proactively contact customers with overdue accounts, negotiate payment plans, and ensure prompt payment.
- Payment Posting: Accurately record and allocate payments received from customers.
- Reconciliation: Perform regular reconciliation of customer accounts to ensure accuracy and resolve any discrepancies.
- Credit Analysis: Evaluate the creditworthiness of customers, establish credit limits, and monitor credit terms.
- Excel Skills: Utilize good Excel skills, including the use of formulas, to analyze and manage accounts receivable data effectively.
- Reporting: Maintain detailed records of accounts receivable activities, prepare reports for management, and provide insights for decision-making.
- Customer Relations: Build and maintain positive relationships with customers, addressing their financial needs and concerns professionally.
The Person: - Minimum 4 years experience in a similar Accounts role
- Relevant knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- High level of attention to detail, written and verbal communication and numeracy and literacy skills
- Effective time management and organisational skills
