I am interested in an architect graduate program and/or a entry-level design role. A role which I can showcase my skills whilst also learning from seniors and mentors.
My soft skills included: Time management, meeting deadlines, attention to detail, task prioritisation, problem-solving, critical thinking, collaborator, individualist, and written and verbal communicator. I am a fast and hard-working learner who can easily adapt to a new change/task. My Hard skills included: Microsoft Office, SketchUp, Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe InDesign
I love reading fiction and fictional novels. My imagination runs wild, trying to imagine what the characters look like, their mannerism, and their expressions. I even try to immerse myself within the book as a background character who just hovers around the characters. I also enjoy trying to picture the settings they are in, how their environment is set out, and what season are they in. etc. I love a good fiction book that thoroughly describes every little thing. Music is another hobby of mine. I professionally studied piano at the age of 7 and finished my AMEB music examination during grade 12. When I studied piano, I also picked up guitar in early high school. Whilst I professionally studied piano, I learnt guitar through YouTube. I love all types of music genres. Almost every second of the day, I listen to a Spotify playlist, either created by me or my family/friends. Fun fact, every month I always create a new Spotify playlist of songs I either discovered or love
Throughout my studies, I did a variety of courses. Some courses I enjoyed more than the others. Every semester, we had a course called Studio 1/2/3/4/5/6. These were my favorites. These subjects are compulsory courses, so essentially the most important subjects I had to do whilst studying for my degree in architectural design. Essentially in 'studio' we are given a design brief set out for the whole semester and we design that task. Each semester is something new and fresh and gets my creative juices flowing. During these courses, I started to understand what type of architect I wanted to be. I discovered that I gravitate towards the designing and planning stages of a project.
