I am interested in roles that integrate urban planning, design, and sustainability, such as Urban Planner, Strategic Planner, Urban Designer, and Architect. I aim to contribute to sustainable and resilient urban development by assisting in land use planning, policy development, and design strategies that enhance livability and environmental sustainability. With my background in architecture and urban planning, I am eager to work on projects that balance growth with conservation anywhere in Queensland or whole Australia, where I can gain professional mentorship and make a meaningful impact on communities.
My strengths lie in my ability to combine architectural design with urban planning to create sustainable and well-structured spaces. I have strong technical skills in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, and Lumion, allowing me to develop detailed and visually compelling plans. My experience in architectural design has honed my problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to interpret and apply planning regulations effectively.
Outside of work, I have a strong interest in photography, particularly travel and architectural photography, which allows me to capture and appreciate different urban landscapes and design elements. I also enjoy exploring triathlon like running and cycling, to maintain my health and mentally prepared for challenges. Likes to travel new places, whether through city walks or nature trips, as they inspire my perspectives on urban planning and sustainability. Additionally, I have a passion for technology and continuously explore advancements in design software and hardware, such as upgrading my PC to run games smoothly and camera gear. Coffee is also a daily essential for me, and I enjoy trying different brews while working or relaxing.
I enjoyed studying the history of architecture and urban design because it provided valuable insights into how societies have shaped their built environments over time. Exploring different architectural styles, movements, and urban planning theories helped me understand the cultural, social, and technological influences that have shaped cities and structures. I particularly appreciated learning about sustainable and resilient design principles from historical precedents, as well as how past innovations continue to inform modern urban development.
